Stem Cell Expansion for Regenerative Medicine

Stem cell expansion for regenerative medicine involves increasing the number of stem cells that can be used for therapeutic treatments.  Whether harvested from umbilical cord blood or adult peripheral blood, the total number of stem cells retrieved from each source is relatively small.  Biocytics™ is investigating ways to stimulate growth of these cells, while keeping them undifferentiated, so they can be used for more than one application, or in new approaches.
